Disney Alters Release Schedule, Finalizes Dates for Emma Stone's 'Cruella,' 'West Side Story' & More

Disney just released the full list of their planned release dates and there are so many changes from the last release schedule that was revealed.

Disney, after merging with Fox, has made some changes to some fan favorite films and some will be released sooner, while some have been moved later.

For example, The New Mutants has been moved again, this time from 2019 to April of 2020.

Every upcoming Avatar sequel has also been altered.

Cruella, which will star Emma Stone in the title role, also finally got a release date of December 23, 2020.

THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN (FOX) previously dated on 9/27/19, moves to 8/9/19
READY OR NOT (FSL) is now dated on 8/23/19
AD ASTRA (FOX) previously dated on 5/24/19, moves to 9/20/19
FORD v. FERRARI (FOX) replaces UNTITLED JAMES MANGOLD PROJECT for on 11/15/19
SPIES IN DISGUISE (FOX) was dated on 9/13/19 and now will be released 12/25/19
UNDERWATER (FOX) is now dated on 1/10/20
CALL OF THE WILD (FOX) previously dated for 12/25/19 will be released 2/21/20
THE NEW MUTANTS (FOX) previously dated on 8/2/19 will be released 4/3/20
ARTEMIS FOWL (DISNEY) previously dated on 8/9/19 will be released 5/29/20
THE ONE AND ONLY IVAN (DISNEY) is the UNTITLED DISNEY LIVE ACTION which was intended for 2/14/20, but will now be released 8/14/20
DEATH ON THE NILE (FOX) was set for 10/2/20 but moves to 10/9/20
WEST SIDE STORY (FOX) is now dated on 12/18/20
CRUELLA (DISNEY) takes the place of UNTITLED DISNEY LIVE ACTION dated on 12/23/20
NIMONA (FOX) previously set for 2/14/20 now moves to 3/5/21
AVATAR 2 (FOX) previously set for 12/18/20 moves to 12/17/21
UNTITLED STAR WARS (DISNEY) has replaced UNTITLED DISNEY LIVE ACTION dated for 12/16/22
AVATAR 3 (FOX) previously dated for 12/17/21 will now be released 12/22/23
UNTITLED STAR WARS (DISNEY) is now dated on 12/20/24
AVATAR 4 (FOX) previously meant for 12/20/24 will now be released on 12/19/25
