Tiffany Haddish Cancels Georgia Performance Over Anti-Abortion Legislation

Tiffany Haddish is cancelling an upcoming show in Atlanta, Georgia over HB481 – aka the Living Infants Fairness and Equality Act.

If you don’t know, the law would prevent women from having abortions after six weeks in the state of Georgia.

“I love the state of Georgia, but I need to stand with women and until they withdraw Measure HB481, I cannot in good faith perform there,” Tiffany said in a statement to ticket holders for her June 22 Fox Theater show (via Page Six).

A growing number of celebrities have supported a boycott of filming in Georgia, and even Netflix said they would reconsider filming in the area should the law stand.
