Billie Eilish Reveals How She's Avoided Being Used in the Music Industry

Billie Eilish is one of the biggest stars on the music scene these days and she’s starring on the cover of V Magazine‘s new issue.

Here is what the 17-year-old singer had to share in her interview with Pharrell Williams:

On being beyond her years: “I just think you can have as much knowledge as [you ever will] at any age… I guess I can’t [back that up], since I’ve never been older than 17… But I think anyone at any age can do anything and say anything.”

On being a catalyst for change in women’s rights: “I hope so, I really hope so. I don’t even have words to say about what is going on in the world. I go deaf because of the sh-t that I hear…”

On working with a great team: “I am really, really lucky and grateful that I have had the experience that I had with my label and with my team and everyone, because I never had any issues with people trying to pull me in a different direction, one in which I would not want to be headed. I think that might just be because I have always been the kind of person that knows what the f–k I want, and if it’s not what I want, then I am not going to do it.”
