Sean Spicer Will Earn Six Figures for 'Dancing with the Stars'

Sean Spicer, along with every other Dancing with the Stars contestant this season, will make six figures.

According to Variety, the contestants earn “$125,000 for the show’s rehearsal period and their first two weeks on the air.”

If contestants make it past week two, they begin to earn added amounts of money.

This season, competitors will not make more than $295,000 total.

During his time as the press secretary for the White House, Sean Spicer made around $180,000.

Spicer‘s participation has been controversial with even the host of the show, Tom Bergeron, speaking out about the decision to have him compete.
