Emilia Clarke Reacts to News That 'Game of Thrones' Prequel Show Was Dropped By HBO

Emilia Clarke steps out bright and early for a promo appearance to promote her new film Last Christmas on Wednesday (October 30) at Good Morning America in New York City.

The evening before, Emilia, who starred in every season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, reacted to the news that one of the GoT prequel shows had been scrapped by the network.

“I’m not really too sure [what happened],” Emilia told ET. “It’s difficult to get stuff made. I wonder. Maybe it’ll be reincarnated at some point, but if it wasn’t meant to happen now, then I’m sure it’s because they know that it wasn’t going to be as perfect as it should have been.”

After dropping one of the prequel shows, another was ordered by the network.
