Get to Know 'Delivery' Singer Chela With These 10 Fun Facts! (Exclusive)

Chela is one of the exciting rising stars on the music scene, and we want to give Just Jared readers a chance to know her a little better!

The Filipino-Australian electronic-pop star, born Chelsea Wheatley, kicked off her career playing punk clubs at 15, and later broke out with her 2013 single, “Romanticise.” She’s since amassed well over 20 million streams with her catalog of songs.

Now, Chela is releasing her Delivery EP, a 4-track collection of songs written and recorded in Melbourne, Perth, Los Angeles and New York City that snapshot “a time of struggle and deep personal introspection about herself and her artistry.”

“These songs have seen me over many places in the world, and in a sense, as I travelled solo over country borders, they were my only companions, changing in sound as I changed too. I feel even now as I release them, that I continue to change sonically from this time, however these songs remain precious to my heart like a diary that I now must read out aloud, willingly and peacefully,” she says of the collection.
