Dwyane Wade Says Gabrielle Union Was Fired from 'AGT,' Praises Her for Standing Up for Her Beliefs
Dwyane Wade is speaking out to praise his wife Gabrielle Union after it was reported that she stood up for what she stands for on the set of America’s Got Talent.
The 37-year-old basketball player took to Twitter to reveal that Gabrielle was fired from the show and he questioned why NBC would do such a thing when so many people loved her on the show.
A bombshell report was released this week that claimed the show had a “toxic culture” on set and Gabrielle expressed her concern over racist jokes being made by both contestants and talent.
“‘Men lie, Women lie, numbers don’t.’ Over this past year I’ve been approached by many people saying that my wife @itsgabrielleu is the main reason they’ve started watching #AGT or that they love her insight and sincerity on the show,” Dwyane tweeted.
He added, “So when i got the news that my wife was being fired—my first question was obviously why!? Iam still waiting on a good answer to that question. But if anyone knows @itsgabrielleu or have heard of her you know she’s an advocate for our community and culture.”
