“How many checks do I need?” Gabrielle said during the The Power of Inclusivity and the Women Leading The Charge panel via Variety. “This financial freedom, they’re shackles, masquerading as zeros in my bank account.”

While she didn’t mention her AGT firing directly, Gabrielle did say, “Don’t be the happy negro that does the bidding of the status quo because you’re afraid. It’s terrifying. There’s a solid chance you’ll lose your job… I speak from experience.”

Gabrielle latest comments come after she was let go from her position as a judge on America’s Got Talent after she reportedly complained about a “toxic culture” behind the scenes.
