Natalie Portman Kicks Off CHLA's Make March Matter Campaign With Danielle Fishel
Natalie Portman has some fun with a group of children during Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ 5th annual “Make March Matter” fundraising campaign kick-off on Monday (March 2) in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old actress joined Danielle Fishel at the event which raises awareness for the month-long initiative that empowers local businesses to rally community participation to raise $2 million in March in support of children’s health in Los Angeles and the Coachella Valley.
“I’m so grateful to the kindness of every single person that works here and the incredible energy here that is putting children first and serving our entire community,” Natalie shared during the event, while speaking of her connection to CHLA.
Danielle added that CHLA is where her son Adler was treated for Chylothorax, a rare lung condition.
“We never once had to worry about Adler’s care while we were here and for that we are eternally grateful. Adler is now 8 ½ months old and he is an absolute joy.”
