Joe Biden Would Choose Michelle Obama as Vice President 'In a Heartbeat,' But...

Joe Biden is the presumptive nominee for President in the democratic party, and now we await who might join him as his running mate in the Vice President slot.

The 77-year-old politician was asked if he would ever make former First Lady Michelle Obama his running mate, and he responded, “I’d take her in a heartbeat. She’s brilliant. She knows the way around. She is a really fine woman. The Obamas are great friends.”

However, don’t expect the pick to happen. He clarified, “I don’t think she has any desire to live near the White House again.”

“In terms of who to pick, we’re just beginning the process,” he added. “We’ll shortly name the committee to review this and begin to look through the backgrounds of the various potential nominees. And that’s just getting underway.”
