No Kid Hungry Declines Tekashi 6ix9ine's $200,000 Donation Amid Pandemic

No Kid Hungry is not accepting Tekashi 69‘s donation.

The nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood hunger confirmed that they rejected a $200,000 from the 24-year-old rapper on Tuesday (May 12).

“We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation. As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values,” they said in a statement, declining to specify further which “activities” did not align with the mission of the group.

“@nokidhungry would rather take food out of the mouth of innocent children. I have never seen something so cruel,” he wrote in a now-deleted Instagram Story post.

Tekashi was serving a two-year sentence after he pleaded guilty to multiple counts of racketeering, firearms offenses and drug trafficking before being let out early amid the pandemic.
