Search for Naya Rivera Will Continue at 'First Light' on Thursday, Sheriff Confirms
Naya Rivera is confirmed to be the missing woman involved in a swimming accident at Lake Piru in California.
The 33-year-old Glee actress was on a boat with her four-year-old son Josey on Wednesday (July 8) and he told authorities that his mom never got back into the boat after going swimming.
“The missing person at Lake Puru has been identified as Naya Rivera, 33, of Los Angeles. SAR operation will continue at first light,” the Ventura County Sheriff tweeted on late Wednesday night.
The search and rescue operation will resume first thing in the morning on Thursday.
The most recent post that Naya put up on Instagram is heartbreaking to look at when there is a possibility that it could be her last one. We continue to pray for her and her family during this time.
