Cheer's Jerry Harris Arrested on Production of Child Pornography Charges

Jerry Harris, who rose to fame as one of the fan favorite cheerleaders on Netflix’s Cheer, has been arrested on “production of child pornography charges,” the U.S. Attorney’s office in Chicago said (via the Chicago Sun Times).

Not much else is known at this time, apart from the information that was already released.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the 21-year-old cheerleader had “solicited sexually explicit photos and sex from minor.”

Jerry then released a statement about the allegations, denying any wrongdoing on his part. “We categorically dispute the claims made against Jerry Harris, which are alleged to have occurred when he was a teenager. We are confident that when the investigation is completed the true facts will be revealed,” his rep said.

He is now also being sued.
