Queen Elizabeth's Beloved Dog Vulcan Passed Away

Queen Elizabeth is sadly facing a loss in the family.

The 94-year-old British monarch’s beloved dog Vulcan died at Windsor Castle, People reported Friday (December 4).

Vulcan was a dorgi, which is a mix between a corgi and a dachshund. Queen Elizabeth now has one dog remaining, another dorgi, named Candy.

More recently, Vulcan sat with the Queen in a set of portraits by the acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz on her 90th birthday.
