'Night Court' & 'Mom' Star Charlie Robinson Dies at 75

Charlie Robinson has sadly died at the age of 75.

The longtime actor was best known for his roles in Night Court and Mom, passed away on Sunday, July 11, due to cardiac arrest and cancer, Variety reports.

Charlie has appeared in a lot of projects over the years including movies like Set It Off, Antwone Fisher, Jackson, Even Money and Miss Lettie and Me, and also on television with guest parts on NCIS, Hart of Dixie, Home Improvement, and Mom.

He was best known for his role as Mac, the court clerk, in Night Court.

Charlie‘s final role was Donald Jones in James Tyler’s Some Old Black Man.

He is survived by his wife Dolorita; his children Luca, Charlie, Christian and Byron; and his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law and dog Nala.

Charlie sadly joins these other stars who we’ve lost this year.
