Lucy Boynton to Play Marie Antoinette in Upcoming 'Chevalier de Saint-Georges' Movie

Lucy Boynton will be playing a iconic historical figure in a new movie!

The 27-year-old Bohemian Rhapsody actress has signed on to play Marie Antoinette in the upcoming movie Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Deadline reports.

It was previously announced that Waves and Luce actor Kelvin Harrison Jr. will be playing the titular role in the Stephen Williams-directed film.

Here’s a little background on Chevalier: “Born in 1745 in the French Caribbean, de Saint-Georges was the illegitimate son of an African slave and a French plantation owner. He rose to improbable heights in French society, dazzling as both a violinist and composer and a champion fencer. An ill-fated love affair with a French noblewoman and a falling out with Marie Antoinette and her court led to his untimely downfall.”
