Mama June Shannon's Boyfriend Geno Doak Reportedly Enters Rehab in South Carolina

Mama June Shannon‘s on/off boyfriend has reportedly entered a rehab facility.

Geno Doak entered a facility on Monday (September 20) in South Carolina after a brief hospitalization, TMZ reports.

Geno, 45, was hospitalized earlier this month in Fort Pierce, Florida, but it’s unclear as to why he was there.

According to legal documents, Geno is required to stay a minimum of 120 days at the long-term intensive program. Geno could spend up to a year at the facility, if necessary.

The news comes about a month after Geno was sentenced to 16 months in Macon, Alabama Community Corrections on drug charges with June, 42.

Geno and June were arrested at a gas station in Alabama back in 2019 after a domestic dispute. When police arrived, they arrested Geno for domestic violence/harassment, felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. June was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Several months later, June pleaded not guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 100 hours of community service. She also agreed to remain sober, in order to avoid jail time.

In August 2020, June celebrated six months of sobriety.
