The forthcoming Britney Vs. Spears documentary is set to hit the streaming platform on September 28, which is also one day before an upcoming court case where her lawyer hopes to remove Jamie Spears from his position as conservator of her estate.

Netflix revealed a teaser one day before on Tuesday (September 21) featuring a call from Britney in 2009 to a lawyer requesting to terminate the conservatorship.

Her father, who is conservator of her estate, filed legal documents in court to petition to terminate the conservatorship after over a decade, citing Britney‘s pleas at court hearings over the summer to terminate the conservatorship and calling it abusive.

On the same day, Britney‘s lawyer also just spoke out and said he expects the conservatorship to end “completely” by fall. Here’s what else he said.
