During his appearance, Jerry reflected on his 2007 animated film, which follows a bee named Barry B. Benson who develops a crush on a human florist, voiced by Renee Zellweger, and issued an apology.
“I apologize for what seems to be a certain uncomfortable subtle sexual aspect of the Bee Movie,” he said.
“[It] really was not intentional, but after it came out, I realized this is really not appropriate for children because the bee seemed to have a thing for the girl,” he ctoninued.
“And we don’t really want to pursue that as an idea in children’s entertainment.”
Back in 2013, a fan-fiction called “The birds and the bees” based on the film’s storyline surfaced on Tumblr, and soon went viral.
At the same time, Jerry Seinfeld celebrated some huge streaming news.
