Awkwafina Joins the Cast of Dracula Movie 'Renfield'

Awkwafina is joining the cast!

The 33-year-old Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star is set to board Renfield, THR reported Wednesday (December 1).

Awkwafina joins Nicholas Hoult and Nicolas Cage in the Universal Pictures monster movie, directed by Chris McKay. It is set to begin shooting early next year in New Orleans.

Nicholas Hoult is starring as the titular character, the infamous acolyte and henchman of Count Dracula, who will be played by Nicolas Cage.

Renfield first appeared in Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula as a patient in an asylum obsessed with drinking blood, deluded into thinking he will find immortality via his vampire master, via THR.
