Highest-Paid Athletes of 2021 - Top 10 Sports Money-Makers Ranked Lowest to Highest
1. Conor McGregor ($180 million)
At the start of 2020, Conor McGregor appeared at UFC 257, and got knocked out by Dustin Poirier, but he still took in an estimated $22 million.
However, the bulk of his profit came from his whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve, which he sold to Proximo Spirits in a deal reportedly worth $600 million, as well as endorsements including DraftKings, the video game Dystopia: Contest of Heroes and Roots of Fight.
All in all, he made $180 million since the Forbes list was calculated earlier this year, earning him the top spot on the highest earning athletes list.
