Zac Efron Shares What Keeps Him Grounded: 'Staying Positive No Matter What'
Zac Efron is all about staying positive.
In a new interview with People to discuss his partnership with AT&T, the 34-year-old actor opened up about what keeps him grounded.

“I thought it was a cool opportunity to learn more about the future of tech and communication at home,” Zac said of his decision to help host AT&T’s virtual launch for their new Fiber service. “I love that there are no rules in this new world of creating content…but no guidelines and unlimited freedom can also be the cause of great frustration, it can work for and against you.”
As for what he likes to do on his days off, the actor said he’s a fan of “sleeping in, a good work out, maybe playing some games or watching movies with friends and dinner at a great restaurant.”
He also spends some of his time off gaming. “The first game I remember really loving was Zelda on N64 and the Super Smash Brothers on Nintendo 64,” Zac said. “I have been gaming with friends and family since the Super Nintendo days so it’s been a long time. I’ve never played World of Warcraft because it looks so hard to wrap my head around!”
He went on to say that he stays grounded by “focusing on the art of it all and staying positive no matter what” and that the key to relaxing was “stop, slow down and take time to get grounded.” He added, “It does take some time for the stress to wear off.”
Zac said he’s happiest spending time with friends and family, travel and the exploration of new places and cultures, anything that gets me outdoors” but added that he’s still trying to get better at finding a work/life balance.
“When you figure it out, call me because I’m knackered,” he joked.
