Prince William & Kate Middleton Issue Rare Statement, Voice Support for Ukrainian People
Kate Middleton and Prince William are speaking out in a rare public statement to voice their support for the people of Ukraine.
The royal couple took to Twitter on Saturday (February 26) and talked about meeting Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy back in October 2020. You can see photos from that meeting in the gallery here.

“In October 2020 we had the privilege to meet President Zelenskyy and the First Lady to learn of their hope and optimism for Ukraine’s future. Today we stand with the President and all of Ukraine’s people as they bravely fight for that future 🇺🇦 W & C,” they tweeted.
Zelenskyy spoke out on Saturday to slam lies about his whereabouts and he has also turned down an evacuation offer from the Americans.
