'Lupin' Set Robbed of Over $300,000 in Equipment in Netflix's Second Set Burglary in Days

Netflix has been the subject of another robbery.

This time, the set of Lupin was robbed while filming part three of the hit show outside of Paris, France.

If you missed it, last week, The Crown set was robbed of over $200,000 worth of antique props while the show was filming the fifth season.

According to Variety, Part 3 of the series was filming with star Omar Sy when 20 people who had their faces concealed broke onto the set and started throwing mortar fireworks. In total, about $333,000 worth of equipment was stolen from the set.

In a statement, Netflix said, “there was an incident on Feb. 25 while filming the upcoming season of ‘Lupin.’ Our cast and crew are safe and there were no injuries.” An investigation is now ongoing.
