Florence Pugh Is in Talks to Star in 'Dune 2'

Florence Pugh may be taking on a big new role!

The 26-year-old Midsommar actress is in talks to star in the upcoming Dune 2, Deadline reported.

Dune Part Two is beginning its pre-production, and the actress is now in negotiations to join the cast, via the outlet.

Sources say she will play Princess Irulan Corrino, the eldest daughter to Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV. Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya and Josh Brolin are all set to return with director, producer and co-screenwriter Denis Villeneuve.

Production on the film is expected to start this summer with the film set to arrive in t theaters on October 20, 2023.
