Lily Collins Says She Went to the Podiatrist 'Every Week' While Making 'Emily in Paris'

Lily Collins is sharing some new details about what it was like making Emily in Paris!

The actress stopped by The Tonight Show on Tuesday (March 22) to promote her new film, Windfall, which was directed by her now-husband Charlie McDowell.

During the interview, she explained that she actually did most of the planning for their wedding while working on the movie.

Host Jimmy Fallon began by saying the last time he had seen Lily, she had just gotten engaged and asked if everything with her nuptials had gone according to plan.

“Yeah, everything went according to plan,” she said. “And we were planning it while shooting Windfall. So it was a lot on our plate.”

Lily also discussed what it was like working on Emily in Paris and revealed she had one major complaint about filming the hit series in Paris.

“Honestly, I would go all over the world with it if I could,” she said when Jimmy mentioned fans had been petitioning for their to be more spinoffs set in different cities. “But the one thing is, I would want to go to streets where you could wear flats.”

She continued, “Wearing heels [all the time]… You wouldn’t think how painful that can be in Paris. I literally went to a podiatrist every week to fix my feet because I was wearing heels all the time. ‘Cause it’s cobblestone everywhere!”
