During the fifth episode of the new season of Selling Sunset, the reality star revealed that the actor had messaged her on a dating app before he rekindled his romance with Jennifer Lopez.

Emma was discussing the celebrity-exclusive dating app Raya with her co-star Chrishell Stause, who recalled that Ben had gone “viral because he sent some girl [something].”

Emma then claimed that she was actually one of the woman he had been messaging with, but noted that they had never met in person.

“He may or may not have been texting me,” she said. “He may or may not have asked to grab … coffee a few times.”

She went on to say that the actor’s “opening pickup line” was about their shared home state of Massachusetts. “We have the Boston connection,” she explained. “It was very sweet.”

Emma also clarified that the exchange happened “right before” Ben got back together with Jennifer in April 2021.
