Former 'Passions' & 'ER' Actress Jossara Jinaro Dies After Cancer Battle at 48

Actress Jossara Jinaro has sadly passed away at the young age of 48.

Announced by her husband, the actress died earlier this week after a struggle with cancer.

“With great sorrow, I announce the passing of my wife, Jossara Jinaro on this date, April 27, 2022,” Jossara‘s husband Matt Bogado shared on Facebook. “Jossara bravely fought cancer and came home to be surrounded by family.”

He went on, adding that “Jossara was an amazing wife, mother, artist, and friend. She had the most beautiful, kind soul and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Even in her last moments, she was still fighting.”

Matt added that she is “now resting in peace and will be remembered forever.”

Jossara was best known for her role on soap opera Passions as Rae, and as Reina on East Los High.

She previously appeared in episodes of ER, Judging Amy, and Animal Kingdom.
