A source told TMZ that Sylvester wanted to get a Rottweiler for protection for their family, but Jennifer did not want another dog. They reportedly had an “extremely heated argument that brought up other issues,” until he ended up getting the dog.

Now, Sly is saying this is not true.

“We did not end the relationship on such a trivial argument,” he told TMZ. “We just went in different directions. I have the highest respect for Jennifer. I will always love her. She’s an amazing woman. She’s the nicest human being I’ve ever met.”

Sly says he covered up his tattoo of Jennifer as he went to get it refreshed, but it was messed up in the process.
