Tyler Stanaland is opening up about Selling The OC and just why his wife, actress Brittany Snow, won’t be on it.

The real estate broker appeared on the Reality Life with Kate Casey podcast and broke it to fans that if they were hoping to get a glimpse at Brittany or at the couple in their home life, it won’t be happening.

“I don’t know about the future,” he shared, “but in this specific season, you won’t see my house, you won’t see my wife.”

Tyler added that he preferred to keep “certain parts” of his life “private” as he entered reality television.

“And as time goes on, maybe that’ll be different,” he added. “But for right now, that was kind of the one thing that made me feel safe embarking on such a strange journey.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Tyler revealed how he and Brittany initially met, and it’s a true modern love story – he slid in her DMs.

“We kind of met through mutual friends, but how we started talking was through social media. I slid into her DMs,” he revealed. “But there was some connection points that we kind of knew who each other were and then suddenly, it ends with the worst pick-up line ever. And she somehow resigned and are married.”

The cringeworthy pickup line? “I said, ‘Babe Town, USA, population, YOU.’ Nothing else, just that.”
