Julia Roberts Reveals How George Clooney 'Saved' Her While Filming 'Ticket to Paradise'

Julia told The New York Times that being away from her family during filming was challenging.

“We were in a bubble, and it’s the longest I’ve ever been away from my family. I don’t think I’ve spent that much time by myself since I was 25,” she explained. Thankfully, she wasn’t totally alone – George was there with his family.

They kept her company during that challenging time. “The Clooneys saved me from complete loneliness and despair,” she told the outlet.

Her co-star revealed that his kids refer to Julia as “Aunt Juju.”

Thankfully, Julia‘s family was able to fly in to visit, and they were reunited!

The duo also joked about how many takes it took to get a usable scene of them kissing for the movie!
