On Wednesday (September 14), the 43-year-old Aquaman and See actor took to social media to show off the new tattoo he got on the side of his head.

Jason took to his Instagram to share a video of himself getting ready to board Hawaiian Airlines flight to New Zealand.

While he’s originally wearing a bowler hat, Jason takes it off to show off the shaved side of his head, which now features a giant tribal tattoo across the entire side of his head that goes down to his neck.

“I got something pretty special for ya,” Jason said as he takes off the hat and shows off his new tattoo. “Chief of War coming for ya baby.”

This head tattoo isn’t the only tattoo Jason has embracing his Hawaiian roots. He also has several Hawaii-inspired tattoos on his arms.

“He got his head and neck tattooed. It’s a huge piece, it’s related to his Hawaiian roots and culture,” Jason‘s team exclusively told JustJared.com.
