'Barbarian' Actress Georgina Campbell Lands First Big Role Since the Movie's Success

The 20th Century Studios movie was a sleeper hit at the box office and grossed over $42 million worldwide on a budget of just $4.5 million. The film, which earned a strong 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, is now generating a ton of buzz after being added to HBO Max.

Deadline just announced that Georgina will star opposite Liam Neeson and Joe Keery in the upcoming sci-fi action movie Cold Storage.

Here is the movie’s synopsis: “Several decades ago, a highly infectious, constantly mutating micro-organism — capable of extinction-level destruction — was contained in a military facility. In the present day, the military has sealed the facility’s lowest sublevel, selling the remaining space to a self-storage company. As temperatures rise underground, the micro-organism finds a way to escape — and if left to spread, it will soon uncontrollably multiply around the world. The fate of humanity now rests on a retired bioterror operative and two unlikely heroes employed in the facility, who are caught in a race against time to destroy the organism and save mankind.”
