Shelley Duvall Makes Acting Return in Trailer for New Horror Movie 'The Forest Hills' - Watch Now!

Shelley Duvall is back!

20 years after her last acting role, the 73-year-old The Shining actress is returning to the screen in the new horror movie The Forest Hills from writer-director Scott Goldberg.

The Forest Hills follows “a disturbed man who is tormented by nightmarish visions, after enduring head trauma while camping in the Catskill Mountains. Duvall will play the mother of the mentally and emotionally disturbed Rico (Chiko Mendez), who serves as his inner voice,” according to Deadline.

Also starring in the movie are The Terminator actor Edward Furlong and E.T. actress Dee Wallace.

Shelley was last seen on the big screen in the 2002 movie Manna from Heaven, which played the festival circuit and had a small box office run.

Back in 2016, Shelley gave a rare interview about suffering from mental illness.

The Forest Hills is scheduled to hit theaters in 2023.
