Chaka Khan Slams Singers Who Use Auto-Tune, Tells Them to 'Get a Job at the Post Office'

Chaka Khan calling out certain singers.

In a new interview, the 69-year-old “I’m Every Woman” singer slammed singers who use auto-tune, and suggested they “get a job at the post office.”

“There is some great stuff out there and there are some great artists,” Chaka told Page Six. “There’s some very fine young artists out there doing great great work that I am impressed with.”

She then went on to add, “But the others, they just need to get them a job at the Post Office — they are always hiring! People are using Auto-tune. They need to get to the Post Office quick.”

Chaka then went on to say that she feels like some of the most talented female artists seem to have very low self-esteem.

“I feel very sad. It saddens me deeply that so much… insecurity is present in these girls,” Chaka said. “They really need to know that they are the gold and that they really are precious.”
