Jeff Bridges Talks Walking His Daughter Down the Aisle After Battling COVID-19 & Undergoing Cancer Treatments
Jeff Bridges was determined to walk his daughter down the aisle at her wedding and being diagnosed with COVID-19 and cancer would not stop him.
The 72-year-old Oscar-winning actor said that he was at “death’s door” after contracting COVID-19 a few months after he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
He added that he was afraid he wouldn’t be able to walk his daughter Hayley Roselouise Bridges down the aisle when she got married a few months later. In order to make that possible, he worked with a trainer.

“The first goal was how long can I stand up,” Jeff told The Independent recently. He could only stand up for 45 seconds at first. However, the determined star improved over time.
“Finally, one day I said, ‘Maybe I can do it, you know.’ And it turns out I not only got to walk her down the aisle, but I got to do the wedding dance. That was terrific,” he revealed.
Jeff also revealed which was harder – his cancer treatments or being sick with COVID-19.
