Two Trump Children Skipped His 2024 Campaign Launch, Despite Report of Him 'Begging' One of Them to Join

According to a report by the New York Post, Trump tried to get Ivanka to join him on stage.

“Trump thought he could convince Ivanka this weekend to come back and campaign for him as she was the most requested speaker after the president himself last time around … but so far she’s resisting his entreaties and holding firm, as is Jared,” an insider told the New York Post. “They both feel they got burned in Washington and don’t want to go back and expose themselves and their children to another bitter campaign.”

However, she released a statement after the event, saying she no longer plans to be involved in politics. You can read that below.

“I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics,” the 41-year-old daughter of Trump said in a statement. “While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena. I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our administration’s accomplishments.”
