Every Lyric from Miley Cyrus' 'Flowers' That Seemingly References Liam Hemsworth Breakup
Miley Cyrus has released her new song “Flowers” and it’s pretty clear in the lyrics that she’s singing about her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.
The 30-year-old singer dropped the song on Liam‘s birthday, so fans already guessed that the song would be about him from the moment it was announced.
This isn’t the first time that Miley has released a breakup song about Liam. It’s believed that her former single “Slide Away” was also about him!
Miley dated and was engaged to her The Last Song co-star after they met on the set of the Nicholas Sparks movie. However, they split up around the launch of Miley‘s Bangerz era. The couple reunited a few years later and tied the knot in 2018. Less than a year later, Liam filed for a divorce. The divorce was finalized in 2020.
Before the song was released, there was already a lot of evidence that the song was about Liam, but after reading the lyrics, we’re pretty much convinced.
