Lea Michele's Son in Hospital for 'Scary Health Issue,' Will Miss 'Funny Girl' on Broadway Tonight

Lea Michele has announced that she will not be performing in Funny Girl on Broadway tonight as her son is dealing with a scary health issue that requires him to be in the hospital.

“I’m so sorry but unfortunately I will be out of @FunnyGirlBwy today. We are at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for,” Lea posted on her Instagram Story.

Lea and her husband Zandy Reich are parents to two-year-old son Ever.

“I’m so sorry,” Lea added to those who might have had tickets to see her portray Fanny Brice in the show this evening. “Please send us some love and strength.”
