'The Penguin' First Look Revealed By HBO, Release Date Confirmed for 2024

We officially have a first look at The Penguin, the continuation of The Batman epic crime lord from filmmaker Matt Reeves.

The new show will debut on Max (which was formerly called HBO Max), and the brand just released an “in production” teaser.

No official synopsis has been made immediately available, but we do know the cast.

Colin Farrell is reprising his role as Penguin alongside Cristin Milioti as Carmine Falcone’s daughter Sofia Falcone, Michael Zegen as Carmine’s son Alberto Falcone, and Clancy Brown as Salvatore Maroni. At the end of The Batman, Carmine Falcone, Gotham’s big mod boss, was killed by The Riddler (Paul Dano). It looks like this 8 episode series will pick up where the film left off.

Max confirmed that the show will debut in 2024.
