Cole Swindell is engaged to his longtime girlfriend Courtney Little!

The 39-year-old “She Had Me at Heads Carolina” singer got down on one knee over the weekend at a very special location, where Courtney said yes to him.

“It’s hard to put into words how happy I am,” he told People. “I feel like I’m very fortunate to be where I am in my career, but I feel like I’ve missed out on a lot of real-life moments. I’m just glad to have somebody to share everything with. She makes me better, and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in all parts of my life.”

Cole also shared how Taylor Swift‘s third Nashville concert almost derailed his proposal!

It turns out that Taylor‘s third concert in Nashville was just so popular that Cole had to think quick in order to get the ring for Courtney.

Cole said that he convinced one Ballantyne Jewelers reps to fly to Nashville to hand-deliver the ring to him, all because he was a bit worried over it getting lost in the mail.

The jewelers are located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and they said yes to that, but neither of them anticipated Swifties being everywhere.

“It looked like she was playing acoustic pop-up shows outside of restaurants or something,” Cole said about Taylor and her fans. “There were lines all over the place. And I was like, ‘This is not what I envisioned coming.’”

However, Cole was able to pull it off and got the ring before his planned sunset proposal happened.
