Wendy Guavara Wins 'Celebrity House Mexico,' Makes History as First Openly Trans Woman to Win a Mexican Reality TV Show

Wendy Guevara is a winner!

The 30-year-old influencer has just made history, becoming the first openly trans woman to win a Mexican reality TV show, via Gay Times.

Wendy was a contestant on the first season of La casa de los famosos México (The Celebrity House Mexico), which is the Mexican adaptation of Celebrity Big Brother.

She was selected as the winner on Sunday night (August 13), beating out popular Peruvian television star Nicola Porcella.

The popular Internet star first found fame with a 2017 viral clip, in which she and her friend hilariously got lost on a hill, dubbing them “Las Perdidas” on social media due to their amusing reaction to the dangerous situation.

She now has over 6.1 million followers on Instagram, and her win has been celebrated across Mexico and beyond.
