Aaron Paul Calls Out Netflix Over Lack Of 'Breaking Bad' Residuals: 'It's Time To Pony Up'

Aaron Paul is speaking out about the lack of residuals he has received from Netflix since Breaking Bad has been streaming on the platform.

The 44-year-old actor, who played Jesse throughout the entire run of the show, spoke out at a recent SAG-AFTRA rally, where he called out the streamer as they made big money off of the show, and the cast hasn’t.

While speaking to ET Canada at the rally, via Variety, Aaron got candid about the residuals.

“I don’t get a piece from Netflix on Breaking Bad to be totally honest and that’s insane to me,” he shared. “Shows live forever on these streamers and it goes through waves.”

Aaron went on, “I just saw the other day that Breaking Bad was trending on Netflix, and it’s just such common sense, and a lot of these streamers, they know they have been getting away with not paying people just fair wage and now it’s time to pony up.”

He isn’t the only star to call out Netflix, and other streamers, over the issue.
