Artem Chigvintsev is going to miss the October 3 episode of Dancing With the Stars, but his partner Charity Lawson will continue in the competition with the assistance of another professional.

Dancing With the Stars announced the last-minute shakeup going into Latin Night on social media. They explained why Artem would be out and revealed who would be joining Charity on the dance floor.

According to a post on Instagram, Artem tested positive for COVID. In his place, Charity will partner with Ezra Sosa.

DWTS wished Artem a speedy recovery, and both Charity and Ezra took to the comments section to share their reaction.

“gonna make you proud Artem,” Ezra promised.

Charity seemed excited going into the next night of the competition. “Grateful for @ezra.sosa stepping in and getting the job done!!! Don’t miss tonight and make sure to VOTE for me,” she wrote.

Artem also chimed in, wishing his partner and replacement luck!
