Tim Tebow Cut from the Philadelphia Eagles
Tim Tebow has been released from the Philadelphia Eagles after being signed by the team back in April.
The 28-year-old football player, who won the Heisman Trophy back in 2007, was hoping to secure a position as the third-string quarterback on the team, but he didn’t make it onto the final roster, according to ESPN.
The two quarterback spots went to Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez and the team is reportedly looking elsewhere to fill the third spot.
Tim was a first-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft and he played with the Denver Broncos for two seasons. He has not started a game since then after being traded to the New York Jets in 2012 and signing with the New England Patriots the year after. He has been on a two year break from football, which unfortunately might end up lasting longer.
