Matt LeBlanc Joins BBC's 'Top Gear' as New Co-Host!
Matt LeBlanc has been named the co-host of the BBC’s flagship motoring series Top Gear!
The 48-year-old former Friends star will host the show alongside radio personality Chris Evans (not to be confused with Captain America‘s Chris Evans!) The show will begin airing in May.
“As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I’m honored and excited to be a part of this iconic show’s new chapter,” Matt said in a statement (via THR). Matt has twice been a guest on the show, and has recorded the fastest lap in one of the sections of the track!
The BBC has never had a non-British host in its 39 year history, so congrats to Matt on the big accomplishment!
