VIDEO: Kelly Clarkson Tears Up During 'It's Quiet Uptown' Performance on 'Today Show'
Kelly Clarkson is known for giving emotional and vulnerable live performances and she teared up while singing Hamilton‘s “It’s Quiet Uptown” on The Today Show.
The Grammy-winning singer got choked up during a touching moment of the song during the performance on Monday morning (December 5) in New York City.
Before she started singing, Kelly talked about how she gets emotional whenever she sings the song.
“The problem is you want to be emotional. But it’s hard to be so emotional while you’re singing it because no sound will come out of my mouth if I start crying,” she said.
