Neil Patrick Harris signs autographs as he arrives at CBS Studios on Thursday (June 6) in New York City.

The 39-year-old actor went on the morning show to discuss the 2013 Tony Awards, which air this Sunday on CBS.

“Yesterday was a pretty physical day,” NPH said, saying the opening number “involves a lot of rehearsing with a lot of people…which causes physical duress,” and it is “pretty epic.”

Neil also talked about turning 40 on June 15. Happy early birthday!

Neil Patrick Harris is set to host this year’s Tony Awards, which will be his fourth consecutive year taking on the gig!

The 39-year-old How I Met Your Mother star will take the stage for the 67th annual Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.

“I’m very excited to be back hosting the Tony Awards at the legendary Radio City Music Hall. It’ll be more impressive than ever — if my math is correct, it will be 267 times bigger than last year,” Neil said in a statement. “Oh, wait. No, that can’t… hold on… carry the one… I’m awful at math. But rest assured, the show will rock!”

That same day, the 31-year-old actress’ fiance Tom Sturridge attended the 2013 Tony Awards Meet the Nominees Press Junket at the Millenium Broadway Hotel in Times Square.

Tom is nominated for Best Performance By an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for his work in the show Orphans. He is up against Tom Hanks (also pictured), Nathan Lane, David Hyde Pierce, and Tracy Letts.

The nominations for the 2013 Tony Awards are finally here!

Broadway vets Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sutton Foster awoke bright and early this morning (April 30) to read the names of the lucky nominees at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center at Lincoln Center.

Tom Hanks and Tom Sturridge both received nominations for Lucky Guy and Orphans in the Leading Role in a Play category, and the Broadway musical Kinky Boots led the nominations with a whopping thirteen total.
