Angelina Jolie gets caught in her dress and trips a tiny bit while leaving the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards held at the beach on Saturday (March 1) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 38-year-old actress was accompanied by her fiance Brad Pitt while heading to their car and he luckily saved her from a fall. What a man!

Earlier in the afternoon, Angelina and Brad sat together at the awards show where he won the award for Best Feature Film for producing 12 Years a Slave.

We can’t wait to see what Brad and Angie wear to the Oscars tomorrow night!

Jason Bateman suits up while attending the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards at the beach on Saturday (March 1) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 45-year-old actor was joined by Forest Whitaker, Josh Radnor, and Patton Oswalt.

Forest‘s film Fruitvale Station won Best First Feature, beating out Blue Caprice, Concussion, Una Noche, Artieda, and Wadjda. Congrats Forest!

During the ceremony, Jason and Kathryn Hahn presented the Robert Altman Award to the Mud cast, which included Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon.

Cate Blanchett and Matthew McConaughey accept their awards on stage at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards held at the beach on Saturday (March 1) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 44-year-old actress won the award for Best Female Lead for her work in the film Blue Jasmine while the 44-year-old actor won the award for Best Male Lead for his work in the movie Dallas Buyers Club.

Both Cate and Matthew are expected to win tomorrow night at the Oscars as well.

Julie Delpy and Sally Hawkins are pure elegance on the carpet at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards held at the beach on Saturday (March 1) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Also in attendance were Gaby Hoffmann and Jane Lynch.

Julie and Gaby were both nominated for Best Female Lead for their work in Before Midnight and Crystal Fairy, respectively. The award ultimately went to Blue Jasmine‘s Cate Blanchett.

Sally was nominated for Best Supporting Female for her work in Blue Jasmine, but she lost to 12 Years a Slave‘s Lupita Nyong’o.

Bruce Dern and June Squibb hit the carpet at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards held at the beach on Saturday (March 1) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The actors were both nominated at the awards show for their work in the movie Nebraska, but unfortunately they did not win.

Also in attendance at the show was their co-star Will Forte, who was nominated for Best Supporting Male.

Bruce brought along his daughter Laura Dern and his wife Andrea Beckett to the show while Will was joined by his mom Patricia.

Rosario Dawson keeps it chic while attending the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards held at the beach on Saturday (March 1) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 34-year-old actress was joined by Greta Gerwig, who did an introduction of Frances Ha at the ceremony, which celebrated independent film makers.
