Colin Farrell and Melissa McCarthy step out for Variety’s Creative Impact Awards & 10 Directors to Watch Brunch held during the 2014 Palm Springs International Film Festival at Parker Palm Springs on Sunday morning (January 5) in Palm Springs, Calif.

The actors were joined at the event by Melissa‘s husband Ben Falcone and Jonah Hill, both of whom were being honored that day. Marisa Tomei was also in attendance.

The night before, Colin hit the red carpet with Ewan McGregor at the festival’s Awards Gala held at the convention center.

FYI: Marisa is wearing a Wes Gordon outfit, Rupert Sanderson shoes, an Emm Kuo clutch, and H. Stern jewelry. The event and the awards were sponsored by Mercedes-Benz.

Colin presented the Frederick Loewe Award for Film Composing to his movie Saving Mr. Banks‘ composer Thomas Newman while Ewan presented the Spotlight Award to his August: Osage County co-star Julia Roberts.

Meryl Streep hits the red carpet at the 2014 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Saturday evening (January 4) at the convention center in Palm Springs, Calif.

The 64-year-old actress was joined at the event by her August: Osage County co-star Margo Martindale. They were even seen taking cell phone selfies on the carpet!

Meryl was in attendance to receive the Icon Award at the event that evening for her long and successful career.

Lupita Nyong’o looks stunning on the red carpet at the 2014 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Saturday evening (January 4) at the convention center in Palm Springs, Calif.

The 30-year-old actress was joined at the event by her 12 Years a Slave co-star Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Lupita was the recipient of the Breakthrough Performance Award at the event that evening for her work in the movie. She has been receiving a ton of other awards nominations on her road to the Oscars!
